Summary of Security Analyst role:

The core responsibility of this position is to take a lead role in shaping the security of Systopia’s products, technologies and delivery practices. Duties include:

  • Agreeing and implementing minimum security controls required for projects
  • Liaise with Systopia customers, project, architecture and change teams
  • Working with internal teams to gain a detailed understanding of projects; performing a security risk assessment where required
  • Working with and supporting the Information Security Manager in maintaining Systopia’s Information Security Management System
  • Owning and developing various Information Security Policies
  • Supporting the Information Security manager in preparation for annual ISO27001 and PCI assessments
  • Working with internal staff to ensure delivery of security elements defined within a security plan, including any necessary testing
  • Completion of the client’s information security questionnaires, with follow-up activities as required (such as sourcing evidence of controls and certifications)
  • Co-ordinating third-party penetration tests including scoping, planning and working with stakeholders to remediate findings
  • Providing security sign-off for projects prior to go-live
  • Active participation/leadership in working groups for projects where there is significant security aspect
  • Assisting with AV and Patching updates
  • Defining and implementing group policy in line with industry best practice
  • Performing vulnerability scanning (Qualys)
  • Review and management of Intrusion Detection Software
  • Review and assist with software releases
  • Incident management support
  • Supporting Data Privacy Manager with technical and organisation measures relating to GDPR
  • Access control management

The applicant may also be expected to perform other duties required by the company and will be required to comply with contractual provisions set out in the company’s Employee Handbook and Information Security Polices.
